- Description:
- No big bang to start off my fourth full season of hiking. I was
actually just killing time in Spokane, so I decided to stroll along the
Little Spokane River. This should definitely be classified as a
stroll or walk rather than a hike. The trail is northwest of
Spokane and begins in the Little Spokane River Natural Area.
- It was a relatively nice day for March and I only saw one other
individual on the trail. I can't say I was overly impressed with
anything, but it was noted in the "100 Hikes" book that I am utilizing, and it felt good to be meandering outside again. The
area actually offered some decent views especially for being located so
close to Spokane.
