- Description:
This is apparently an interpretive trail of the
ecosystem along the Boise Front. It was a cold windy day and I
simply wanted to get out of the house. I loaded my pack up with
approxiamately 40 pounds and decided to go for a walk. From downtown Boise, follow 8th Street north
past Camel's Back Park for about 4 miles to get to the trailhead parking
lot. The road was closed about a quarter of a mile before the
parking lot so you had to walk on the road for a bit before getting on
the trail. There wasn't much snow and I saw a number of people
out. Nothing too exciting, I would recommend trail running.
