- Description:
- The trailhead for Gold Hill is
located 4.8 miles up Bottle Bay Road just southeast of Sandpoint
(ID). Gold Hill is the knoll east of the Long Bridge as you are
coming north into Sandpoint. We were all working in Sandpoint
(ID) for the week, and since I had lived there for four years, I ended
up with the title of social coordinator for the evening. There is
still a considerable amount of snow in the upper Selkirks so because of
this and our limited time in the evenings, we decided to go to the top
of Gold Hill for some exercise and the views of Sandpoint. After this, we were off to Eichardt's for dinner and a pint.
