• Description:
  • I wanted to take my father-in-law on a nice hike since the weather was cooperating on his visit from North Dakota.  Little did I know that Mount Morrison above Red Rocks is slightly more than a walk in the park.  It was fairly steep with some loose rock on the route we took.  In addition, there is a bit of Class 3 scrambling near the summit.  Oh well, I think he enjoyed himself for the most part.  He was fairly sore though.
