• Description:
  • Any of the weak state highpoints I visit are because of convenience and not desire.  I was working in eastern Colorado only 30 miles from the Kansas highpoint, so I decided to drive over one evening with some coworkers.  You can drive right to the point with no hiking required.  Driving to Kansas killed some time so I certainly don't regret it, I only wish we had taken more beer.
