- Trout Creek is located
approximately 15 miles east of Sandpoint (ID) on Highway 200. The
trailhead is 7.8 miles up Trout Creek Road on the right. I kind of
took Wednesday night off from hiking and took all my coworkers up to
Snow Creek Falls north of Sandpoint for a short walk and some scenery. Thursday
evening I returned to hiking and and went up to Trout Peak. It
seems funny that many of the hikes I did when just starting out were
full day events and now I was completing them in the
evening after work. A little perspective and experience goes a
long way.
