Despite being tired from our alpine start the
previous day, Jeff and I decided to go and check out North Table
Mountain for the first time. I hadn't been rock climbing in over
six months and I hadn't gone to the rock gym in over three months.
The fact that I'm not a great rock climber to begin with coupled with my
long hiatus resulted in getting my ass handed to me. (It was a lot
like when I went and mountain biked Deer Creek Canyon for the first
time.) Anyway, Jeff lead "Pack O' Bobs" (5.7/Sport) and set up a top
rope. After we each took a couple of runs, we moved the top rope
over to "Wholly Holey" (5.8) and "War with a Rack" (5.8). Again,
we each took a couple of runs on both routes and then called it a day.
