• Description:
  • We didn't have a lot of time to go very far, so Jeff and I just went down to Colorado Springs (CO) and climbed Hully Gully.  We got there shortly after another party and there isn't really room for multiple groups climbing.  After they led and followed the upper pitch, I sport-led the upper pitch using their screws.  After Jeff took a run, we set up a quick top rope on the lower pitch and got a couple of laps in.  The first party left, so we set up a top rope on the upper pitch and climbed some more before calling it a day.  The ice was soft, mushy, and wet.  We still had fun getting some swings and kicks in.
