- Jeff and I picked Brian up at his condo in Silverthorne (CO) around
8:00 am and headed over to Lincoln Falls by Montgomery Reservoir and
Hoosier Pass. We were the first party to the trailhead and falls
on a fairly brisk morning. Fortunately there was no wind which
allowed us to make 3 laps up the main gully throughout the day.
Since the gully is 2 pitches, we each got a couple of leads in before
heading back to Denver (CO). The gully is 40 feet of WI3, 160 feet
of WI2, and another 40 feet of WI3. We had a good day without the
typical weekend crowds you find at Lincoln Falls.
