- My in-laws were in town and we spent the weekend in Glenwood Springs
(CO), so on the way there we hiked up to Hanging Lake in Glenwood
Canyon. After our hike we filled up on pizza and just relaxed at
the hotel. The next day we went site seeing to Maroon Lake and
John Denver's memorial. We had lunch in Aspen (CO) before
returning to Glenwood Springs (CO) and soaking in the hot springs.
We went to dinner at the Italian Underground later that evening.
We finished up our trip at the Glenwood Cavern Adventure Park.
After Becky and the girls did the cave tour, we rode the alpine coaster
and giant canyon swing. We also did the human maze, played lazer
tag, and climbed on the rock wall. After we rode the gondola back
down to Glenwood Springs (CO), we hiked up to the gravesite of John
Henry "Doc" Holliday.
