• Description:
  • I haven't been out since my trip to the Alps in September with the exception of some mountain biking.  And I'm not much of a rock climber, but Dan and Jeff were kind enough to let me go rock climbing with them in Eldorado Canyon and even let me lead a couple of pitches.  We first did the Wind Ridge on the Wind Tower.  Dan led pitch 1, I led pitch 2, and Jeff led pitch 3 before we topped out on the Wind Tower.  We then moved over to Swanson Arete on the Redgarden Wall.  Jeff led pitch 1, I led pitch 2, and Dan led pitch 3 to the summit of Lumpe Tower.  It was a fun and enjoyable day.  The Annapurna Amber and wings at the Southern Sun in Boulder hit the spot after climbing.  Although Jeff and I are married, Dan said that some of the local talent was nice too.
